No, the bachelor's degree program in communication studies as a minor can only be started in the winter semester after successfully applying for a place and subsequently enrolling. All information on enrollment can be found on the Student Office website (this way).

No, unfortunately that is not possible. Therefore, excellent German language skills are a prerequisite for a successful application. Applicants from non-German-speaking countries must provide proof of their German language skills when applying (at least C1). This proof is not required if the BA degree was obtained at a German-speaking university.

To ensure that you can begin your studies on time, you should find out about the content and requirements in good time. The first source of information is this website, which provides detailed descriptions of the degree programs (click here for the degree program overview page). The institute is also represented at the "Campus Day" held twice a year at LMU. The academic advisors are available to answer any specific questions you may have. If you are interested in hearing about the students' perspective, you can contact the student council.
Please note that an introductory event is offered in the BA program during the week before the start of the lecture period, which must be attended! If you are admitted, we will contact you directly.
